Control Room started as a collaboration project between Oli Sorenson's camera works, Adrienne Hart's choreography and October's music (Julian Raymond Smith). This work is structured around a remix of a previously released October track, of the same title. The final edit combines add-on digital graphics and numerous time lapse sequences. Since its initial video shoot in 2009, Control Room continued as a larger body of works which combined dance, video and sometimes architecture. 2011's edition was especially created to fit into a mapping project for Quartier Des Spectacles in Montreal, in collaboration with Canadian choreographer Martin Bélanger, which was projected on the city's largest bell tower, now part of the University of Quebec in Montreal.

Le projet Control Room a débuté avec une collaboration entre la travail de caméra d'Oli Sorenson, la chorégraphie d'Adrienne Hart et la musique d'Octobre (Julian Raymond Smith). Cette œuvre s'est structurée autour d'un remix d'une pièce musicale que Octobre avait déjà en circulation, du même titre. Le montage final combine de nombreuses séquences caméra accélérées et ralentie avec l'ajout de formes graphiques numériques. Depuis son premier tournage en 2009, Control Room s'est poursuivi via un ensemble plus large d'œuvres combinant les disciplines de danse, de vidéo et parfois d'architecture. L'édition 2011 fut spécialement conçue pour un projet de mapping du Quartier Des Spectacles à Montréal, en collaboration avec le chorégraphe canadien Martin Bélanger, et projeté sur le plus grand clocher de la ville, faisant maintenant partie de l'Université du Québec à Montréal.
