PANORAMA OF THE ANTHROPOCENE (Plein Sud)
Continuing the same series of works as Landscape of the Anthropocene, drawing inspiration as much from the square layout of Instagram, the pixelated landscapes of Minecraft and the geometric paintings of Peter Halley, the corpus entitled Panorama of the Anthropocene offers an general overview of human activities exerting a real and urgent impact on the Earth's ecology. Composed of numerous paintings, digital prints and video screens with extremely bright colors, and very simple shapes, these images evoking the modular infrastructures of post-industrial societies are here arranged to give an impression of overabundance, a lack of decorum, which ultimately expressed the intensity of the current global economy.

Poursuivant la même séries d’œuvres qu’avec Paysage de l’Anthropocène, en s’inspirant autant de la mise en page carrée d’Instagram, des paysages pixélisés de Minecraft et des peintures géométriques de Peter Halley, le corpus intitulé Panorama de l’Anthropocène propose une vision d’ensemble des activités humaines ayant un impact réel et urgent sur l’écologie de la Terre. Composées autant de peintures, d’impressions numériques et d’écrans vidéos aux couleurs extrêmement vives, et aux formes très simples, ces images évoquant les infrastructures modulaires des sociétés post-industrielles sont ici accrochées de façon à donner une impression de surabondance, sans décorum évident, et au final expriment l’intensité de l’économie mondiale actuelle.
