HALLEY'S ANTHROPOCENE
For this series, I work in the style of Peter Halley's geometric paintings to produce a large number of images, transposed into paintings, prints and digital animations. While Halley focused on representing the cells of Foucault's panoptic prison, my works will discuss the modular infrastructure of post-industrial societies, from computer hardware to office cubicles and intensive farming systems, all of which accumulate to occupy an ever larger expanse of earth's surface, to the point of causing real ecological and geological repercussions.
